Antes de ayer la humanidad se ha quedado huerfana, el que fue apodado como “Rey del Pop” se ha marchado tal como él no quería, en su corazón la esperanza de los conciertos de julio en Londres era la forma de decirnos adiós a todos, haciendo lo que mejor sabía, cantando, pero ese mismo corazón ha dicho basta y, el 25 de junio del 2009 a las 23:30 en España, nos dejó, no volveremos a verlo en un escenario, no volverá el Moonwalk.

Nuestro consuelo para el resto de nuestra vida es escuchar su trabajo, las más conocidas, las menos, explorar sus comienzos, los años 70, no quedarnos en el Thriller o en Bad, nos queda mucha música suya por delante, es hora de descubrir al verdadero Michael Jackson, una de las mejores voces del rhythm & blues de la historia, la leyenda ha comenzado.

Le he dado vueltas a que canción seleccionar para este post, ¿Thriller? ¿Black or white? Finalmente he decidido elegir esa joya que escribió en 1991 y que da titulo al post, si John Lennon tuvo su “Imagine”, Michael Jackson tendrá su “Heal the world”, escuchar su voz, su música y sobre todo quedaros con la letra, curemos al mundo, no puede ser tan complicado
